Session 12: Blood Pumps and Property Ownership

The Failed Vessel

Below the Ruins of Kathas Castle, the party found what the wall of blood had been hiding: a failed vessel, feeding off a set of blood pumps imbued with blood magic.

The solution was the obvious one. The party destroyed the pumps, and with nothing left to feed on, the failed vessel died.

The Top of the Tower

With the pumps silenced, the party climbed. At the top waited High Order Malgora and Sanguinax's orb — the same orb Malgora had drawn, over and over, through the worsening pages of the diary recovered in Session 11.

The Cult of Sanguinax was destroyed.

The Descent

The ruins did not take it well. As the building came apart around them, the party stepped off it and drifted down under feather fall, unhurried, while the stones fell faster.

Home, and a House

The party made it back and collected the reward — and then, with the money, bought a house.
